Lord Glenconner, who was most recognized for turning Mustique into the desirable enclave it is today, searched the length of the Caribbean for his next project before finding the beautiful island of St Lucia and the Val des Pitons, inspiring the creation of the development.
These spectacular villas are inspired by Lord Glenconner "the man who bought Mustique". The aim is to create an enclave for the rich, where they feel at home whilst mixing with local people. Exclusive without excluding.
The villas afford freedom of use as often as desired.
Sustainability and working with local people are key.
Situated in a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of just 180 natural sites in the world. Only locations deemed of outstanding universal value are granted this rare status. This ensures that your investment is forever protected against future development.
Facilities include a small village square with shops selling local Caribbean produce and cuisine.
Residents at Glenconner Beach will have use of all the amenities at the neighbouring hotel, The Jalousie Plantation, which will be rebranded as The Tides Sugar Beach in December 2011. Facilities will include a luxury spa, fine-dining and beach restaurants, four bars, a dive centre, kids' club and concierge service.
The villas are the only product of this level in the Southern Caribbean.
